  • What about Kyle?

It all started so innocently. I’ve been away from the scene for a while so I was catching up on some chat history on one of the modding/gaming servers on Discord that I’m on and I stumbled across the following.

Well we can’t have that now, can we? I’ll take that as a sign for me to get back into things. I mean, how hard can it be? Only one way to find out, let’s dig in!

  • Crawling out of the swamp

It’s been a while since my last post, and will probably be a little longer before I get back into any regular schedule, but I’m still here. My last general post I mentioned that I had been dealing with a serious illness in my family. Sadly that culminated in spending pretty much the entirety of the holidays at the hospital, and ultimately with the passing of my mother in the first week of January. Needless to say it has seriously affected my motivation to do things, and I pretty much crawled under a rock for a few weeks. With that said, I’m starting to feel the itch again so more is coming, I’m not out yet.

So for those of you who have been regularly checking back, thank you for sticking around. I promise more content is coming, just may be a little longer. My time is limited for the next few months though as I am selling my home here and preparing to move, as well as handing various family affairs as a result of my mothers passing. In the meantime I have managed to chip away at the backlog a bit in my spare moments when I felt motivated, and more recently I tackled on a new format, which I hope to post about in the next little while.

One final request, if you can, please consider donating blood to your local blood bank. My mother had AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), and if it wasn’t for blood transfusions she wouldn’t have survived for as long as she did as she was fighting to try and defeat it. While she ultimately lost her battle and it ended far sooner than we liked, we did get to spend one last Christmas together because of transfusions. So for those of you that already do donate… thank you!
